Solo Art Gallery Of SBUMC Dermatologist Generates Excitement In New York City Art World
Christopher Adams, M.D., Resident in the Department of Dermatology at Stony Brook University Medical Center, whose side passion is creating unusual plant and animal-like ceramic figures, is finding himself in the center of the New York art world. Dr. Adams is displaying his creations at his first solo gallery in New York. His “Dangerous Beauty” exhibit, at the Ricco Maresca Gallery in Manhattan, is open until November 18.

100 People To Take Oath Of U.S. Citizenship At Swearing-In Ceremony At Stony Brook University
Olufemi Vaughan, an Associate Provost at Stony Brook University who became an American citizen last year, will be the Keynote Speaker when more than 100 immigrants—including several Stony Brook employees—take the oath of U.S. citizenship at a swearing-in ceremony on Thursday, October 26 at 10:00 AM at the Charles B. Wang center on campus.
