Howard L. Adler, M.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology and Director of the Prostate Care Program. His main research focus is on prostate cancer and benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). He also is involved in areas of research related to bladder cancer. As part of the Physician-Scientist Training Program, he collaborates with other Stony Brook investigators to evaluate the role of matrix metalloproteinases in prostate cancer progression. Dr. Adler gives local and regional presentations regarding benign prostatic hypertrophy and prostate cancer.
