Hongkyung Kim, Ph.D. is a Visiting Assistant Professor in Korean Studies. Since 1986, Dr. Kim’s research has concentrated on Confucianism, one of the important traditions in East Asian societies. He has extensively on the history of Confucian thoughts in China and Korea, including modern Neo-Confucianism. He has taught widely about East Asian religions and philosophy including Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, and also teaches Korean culture and Korean literature.
