Under Pryor’s leadership since 1999, SBLI USA has continued to experience expansion through the launch of new products, services and successful distribution channels. This reversed a ten-year decline and has resulted in an average annual sales growth of eight percent through 2007 and steady sales and renewals during the recent economic downturn.

Featured in the New York Times, and named by Crain’s New York as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in New York City Business, Pryor’s involvement extends beyond SBLI USA and into the business and civic communities. She is a frequent and sought after speaker whose engagements range from topics relating to women’s empowerment, ethics, corporate governance, and financial empowerment. In 2007, she served as panelist for an unprecedented study called “The Bottom Line” by Catalyst, which assesses the positive financial impact of the presence of women on boards of directors, and as a panelist for the NAAIA 2007 National Conference, discussing African-American women breaking the glass ceiling. Pryor has delivered numerous keynote speeches. Among these was at the 2009 Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership Conference. She has contributed to a number of works, most recently to “Motivate Like a CEO,” an authoritative resource for creating excellence in an organization through inspirational and creative people management.
