Aaron W. Godfrey is Lecturer and Coordinator of the Classic Studies Program in the Department of European Languages, Literatures and Cultures. He has taught Latin and Classics at Stony Brook for thirty-nine years and also teaches a course in Classical Civilization, which focuses on ancient Greece and Rome. Has also directed programs for at-risk and low-income high school students and underrepresented minority college students. He is a former president of the faculty union and also advocates for SUNY at the state legislature.
