Richard Lin, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology in the School of Medicine. He was honored in 2004 with a Presidential Career Award, the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. Government on an outstanding scientist beginning his or her independent research career. Dr. Lin’s research focuses on the basic mechanisms that control cell growth and differentiation. He also is a Staff Physician in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the VA Medical Center in Northport, N.Y.
