(STONY BROOK, N.Y., January 11, 2006) – Stony Brook University Hospital welcomed its first baby of the New Year at seven minutes past midnight: Hunter Cody-Lohr Mead Born to Lindsay and Kevin Mead, both 22, of Patchogue, he was 19 ¾” tall and weighed 8 lbs. Delivered by OB/GYN, Dr. Michele Murphy, Hunter was three weeks early, and is the first child for the couple. Lindsay works at Teacher’s Federal Credit Union on the Stony Brook University west campus. Lindsay’s mother, Lorelei Cody, works in the Department of Family Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital.
To commemorate his special time of birth, Hunter and family were presented with a complimentary stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Stony Brook and a special gift basket from Babies ‘R Us.
