Allen G. Meek, MD is Professor of Radiation Oncology and Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology. The Department of Radiation Oncology provides state of the art cancer care for both children and adults, develops new instrumentation for research and patient care and pursues investigations into new applications of ionizing radiations. Dr. Meek has been at Stony Brook and Chairman for 20 years, is an officer and on the board of directors of several not for profit community based organizations and serves as a reviewer for the NIH Clinical Research Study Section.
