Theresa McManus
is a Music Therapist (Board Certified) and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in the Department of Psychiatry. Ms. McManus has been a music therapist at Stony Brook for more than 20 years. She assists patients by involving them in both musical experiences and music interventions. She incorporates singing, moving, playing, listening and creating into therapy.
Ms. McManus is the representative for the Mid Atlantic Region of the American Music Therapy Association?s Internship Approval committee.
