Arthur Grollman, M.D. is the Evelyn Glick Professor of Experimental Medicine, Distinguished Professor of Pharmacological Sciences, and Director of the Zickler Laboratory of Chemical Biology. He founded the Department of Pharmacological Sciences in 1974. He has published more than 160 papers in the field of environmental toxicology and cancer biology and has testified before federal and state panels on a variety of issues. He serves on a number of national committees and currently is a senior advisor to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
Specific areas of expertise: Environmental toxicology. Chemical carcinogenesis. Dietary supplements and herbal medicines, including ephedra.
