Raja Jaber, M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Director of the Division of Wellness and Chronic Illness. Her personal and research interests include the doctor-patient relationship, readiness to change, body-mind, and nutritional medicine in the context of an integrated approach to wellness and chronic illness. She has a specific interest in women’s wellness, menopause, Pre-Menstrual Syndrome, and sexual function.
Specific areas of expertise: Chronic fatigue relating to cancer and other illnesses.
Steven Jonas, M.D., M.P.H., M.S., is a Professor of Preventive Medicine in the School of Medicine, and has been on the faculty since the medical school opened in 1971. The creator of the first textbook on the U.S. health care system, Health Care Delivery in the United States, his most recent book in that field is the 5th edition of An Introduction to the U.S. Health Care System. He has also published extensively in both the lay and academic press in the fields of health, fitness and Wellness.
Specific areas of expertise: Health policy analysis, substance abuse policy, exercise promotion, weight management, and Wellness as a process of being.
