Eva Chalas, M.D., is Deputy Director of Women�s Cancer Services at the Long Island Cancer Center and Associate Professor for the Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Chalas is also President and Managing Partner of the Long Island Gynecologic Oncologists, P.C., one of largest practices of its kind on Long Island. She also is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and Board Certified in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Gynecologic Oncology.

Specific areas of expertise: Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers. Management of ovarian cancer.

Michael L. Pearl, M.D., is Associate Professor and Director for the Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Pearl is the principal investigator for the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) at Stony Brook. The GOG is a national organization devoted to developing and carrying out clinical trials for gynecologic cancers. Dr. Pearl also oversees the research program for the Division of Gynecologic Oncology and is a principal investigator or co-investigator on many National Institutes of Health / National Cancer Institute supported research grants. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as gynecologic oncology. Dr. Pearl is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Full Member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and Western Association of Gynecologic Oncologists.

Specific areas of expertise: Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers. Management of cervical cancer.
