Stony Brook University Campus Welcomes New Hilton Garden Inn

Hilton Garden Inn at Stony Brook
opening of the 135-room Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook, representing an addition to the brand’s growing portfolio of more than 550 hotels worldwide.

The Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook is operated and managed by Crescent Hotels and Resorts and is located at 1 Circle Road in Stony Brook, NY, at the entrance to the Stony Brook University campus — about 60 miles east of New York City. It is just minutes from Stony Brook Village Center, Port Jefferson Village and fifteen miles to MacArthur Islip (ISP) Airport. The hotel provides the amenities to ensure guests sleep deep, stay fit, eat well, work smart and treat themselves while on the road.

The hotel features the brand’s signature Garden Sleep System® bed – a Serta Perfect Sleeper® mattress with fresh, white, cozy duvets and crisp linens. Guests can start off their day with a full-cooked-to-order breakfast featuring omelets, fruit, breads and the brand’s signature waffle in the Garden Grille and Bar. The restaurant also serves lunch, dinner, and cocktails as well as evening room service. The Pavilion Pantry® is open 24 hours and features a complete selection of salty snacks, sweet treats, cold beverages as well as freshly prepared, frozen and microwaveable packaged items.

Other hotel amenities include: a glass-enclosed Pavilion lobby featuring a comfortable lounge area with a television and fireplace; an easy-to-set alarm clock that allows guests to play their portable MP3 player; 32” LCD HDTVs in every room; an in-room “hospitality center” with a mini fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker; a sitting area with an easy chair and ottoman; a hairdryer; and an iron and ironing board. The hotel’s recreational facilities consist of a fitness center with state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training equipment, as well as a swimming pool and hot tub.

The hotel also features four meeting rooms that include a board room offering over 3,800 square feet of flexible space and an on-site guest laundry facility. The ballroom space can host up to 225 people for a seated dinner and up to 300 for a reception.
