Stony Brook University Celebrates Inauguration of President Samuel L. Stanley, Jr., M.D.

Representatives from the Campus Community to welcome President Stanley, including SUNY Trustees, Michael Russell and Cary Staller; Stony Brook Council Chair, Kevin S. Law; Chairman of the Stony Brook Foundation, Richard Gelfond, representatives from Student Government, Graduate Student Organization, and the Alumni Association and state and local elected officials.

WHAT:
The Stony Brook University community will come together to celebrate the inauguration and investiture of President Samuel L. Stanley, Jr., M.D., a renowned biomedical scientist and former Vice Chancellor for Research at Washington University in St. Louis.

In his Inaugural Address, President Stanley will outline his vision for the future of Stony Brook University.

WHERE:
Sports Complex, Stony Brook University

DIRECTIONS
LIE to Exit 62. North on Nicolls Road 9 miles. Proceed past Main Entrance and go to the North Entrance. At the top of the hill, make a right (Circle Road). Make your first left (Gym road). The Indoor Sports Complex and VIP parking is at the end of Gym Road.
