For the first time, N.I.C.E. (New Italian Cinema Events) of Florence, Italy - a cultural organization whose honorary members include Isabella Rossellini and Bernardo Bertolucci - will bring to Long Island a number of new Italian films to be presented and discussed by the filmmakers.

First Asian American Film Series at Stony Brook University
This spring, Stony Brook University will present its first ever “Asian American Film Series: Situating Asian America” at the new Charles B. Wang Center. The month-long program is presented by the The Frank Melville Jr. Memorial Library, in collaboration with the Charles B. Wang Center, from March 27 to May 1, 2003 in celebration of Asian Heritage Month at SBU.
